Color Block Trapezoid Earrings
These modern asymmetrical earrings are lightweight, simple and contemporary. I hand make these by cutting and soldering the pieces of silver and copper together with a torch. I then sand, polish and patina the metal. The colorblock has silver, copper and black. The two earrings are subtly mismatched. The fine silver has been soldered to the copper in a technique called marriage of metals. These are stylish and will go with any outfit, they are also light enough to wear everyday. The earring wire is made of sterling silver ear wire. The trapezoids are about 1 inch long.
These earrings are perfect as a unique gift for someone special, or a treat for yourself. Each pair is handmade and designed by me with care! As such, each pair will be slightly different than those photographed as they are made to order. These come safely packaged in a stylish gift box, complete with ear backs so they don’t get lost.
